Friday 25 October

Burying the body:
compost or a crime?

The festival’s opening session and Adelaide’s first opportunity to meet the international guests.

Promoting the virtues of compost will be Toby Musgrave, one of the UK's leading authorities on garden history and design, and Charles Elliott, also now from the UK, who is well known for his entertaining collections of essays on gardens and plants, published by the Royal Horticultural Society.

Arguing the case for crime will be Hakan Nesser, one of Sweden's most popular crime writers, who will be joined by Ann Cleeves from Northern England and the creator of the detective Vera Stanhope, the television series of which was recently screened in Australia.

Tickets: $25.00
